We are grateful for your support and involvement as we work to combat and support the nearly 60 million adults and hundreds of thousands of children who battle the nation’s #1 cause of disability.

Neighborhood Impact

The event will be fully contained inside of Washington Park. No public/neighborhood streets will be impacted. Participants are encouraged to park at South High School and to take public transportation.

Event Description for 2024 Walk to Cure Arthritis

Walk to Cure Arthritis is the Arthritis Foundation’s nationwide signature event that unites communities across the country to put an end to arthritis. We aren't just helping the millions of people with arthritis to live better; we're charting the course to a cure.

1 in 4 adults (nearly 60 million Americans) and 1 out of every1,000 children live with some type of arthritis.  Likely you or someone you know lives with this debilitating disease.  We hope you will join us to raise funds, connect with a wonderful community, and support those with arthritis in living better lives.

General Event Information

• 8:00 a.m. - Day of Registration/Check-in Opens
   
  • Expo/Vendor Area Opens
   
  • Team Tents ready for Team Tailgate gatherings ($5000 min. team fundraising level)
 
• 9:00 a.m. - Opening Ceremonies
• 9:20 a.m. - A 3-mile Walk begins, with the option for a shorter distance (approximately 1 mile)
• 10:00 a.m. - Walkers are welcomed back to Expo/Vendor area
• 11:00 a.m. - Walk Concludes
