FUNDRAISER: “JAZZ ON THE GREEN” WITH THE JOE ANDERIES QUARTET

RESTORE THE HISTORIC LAWN BOWLING SHED

in WASHINGTON PARK, DENVER, COLORADO

PLEASE JOIN US THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 4 from 6-8 P.M.

at the historic WASHINGTON PARK LAWN BOWLING GREEN

S. FRANKLIN STREET AND E. MISSISSIPPI AVENUE, 100 YARDS INSIDE THE S.E. PARK ENTRANCE

The Washington Park Lawn Bowling Club, the Denver Croquet Club, and the Friends and Neighbors of Washington Park, in conjunction with Denver Parks and Recreation, are hosting “Jazz on the Green” with the Joe Anderies Quartet to raise funds to restore the historic lawn bowling shed/office. Event tickets, available at the gate, cost $35 per person / $50 per couple (cash, check, or electronic payment accepted.) Enjoy the music, an opportunity to lawn bowl and play croquet. In addition to your checkbook, please bring a blanket to sit on and enjoy the quartet known for its explosive chemistry and deep musical roots spanning traditional jazz, Latin styles, and Brazilian samba! Consider bringing a picnic and your own drinks, too. Additional donations may include bench-naming, decorative bricks, and a silent auction for a lifetime membership in each sporting club.
