Denver Urban Gardens Spring Plant Sale

My name is Max, I am an AmeriCorps member serving at Denver Urban Gardens (DUG). DUG is the largest independent, food-producing community garden organization in the United States with more than 200 sites operating as community gardens or food forests with the bold vision of a sustainable urban future where people are deeply and directly connected to the earth, each other, and the food they eat. I am reaching out to invite you to our annual Spring Plant Sale, happening May 10th and 11th, 2024 from 10:00am – 3:00pm both days.

This is a free event where you can pick up organic flowers, herb and vegetable seedlings, hanging baskets, fruit trees, straw, and Denver’s own A1 EcoGro compost. You can also drop off or bring home gently-loved tools at our Sustainability Swap, as well as get tips and tricks for spring gardening, tree care, and more. To promote sustainability, please consider bringing your own box and/or bag for purchases

We'll also celebrate the season with expanded activities on Saturday, including live music, food and drink, partner organization tables, and local mission-aligned businesses and artists. This event will include a partial road closure of Arapahoe St from 33rd to 34th on Saturday, May 11th from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.

Vendors and nonprofit partners can apply for a table/tent spot using this form.

Due to the road closure, we encourage you to enter the event at the intersection of Arapahoe and 33rd or Arapahoe and 34th if you plan to join us on Saturday, May 11th.
