Supporting  Sustainability. Strengthening Community. Saving Costs.

DENVER – The  City and County of Denver is proud to announce that registration is now open  for the 2025 $ave  Green Be Green Conference ($GBG),  a no-cost, one-day event dedicated to helping local nonprofits, faith-based,  and community organizations build more energy-efficient, sustainable  operations.

Date:  Thursday, June 5, 2025
 Time: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Location: First Universalist Church of Denver, 4101 E. Hampden Ave,  Denver, CO 80222
 Register now: www.denvergov.org/sgbg

Hosted  by Denver  Human Rights & Community Partnerships  (HRCP),  the $GBG Conference provides a unique opportunity to:

  • Learn the latest strategies in climate resilience and energy efficiency
  •
  • Connect with funding opportunities and technical resources
  •
  • Network with leaders from the public, private, and nonprofit sectors
  •
  • Attend interactive workshops
  •
  • Share resources and information at the Exhibit Hall
  •
  • Participate in the $GBG Pitch Competition for a chance to win one of four grant awards—up to $10,000 for Denver nonprofits’ energy-efficiency projects.
  •

Attendees  will also enjoy complimentary breakfast, lunch, and a closing reception.

“The  $ave Green Be Green Conference is one of the many ways our city is preparing  for a climate-resilient future,” said Perla Gheiler, Executive Director of  HRCP. “It’s also our way of thanking local partners by connecting them with  resources, and even direct funding, to support their mission.”
