Vision Zero and Bikeway Evaluation Study
Participate in our Bikeway and Vision Zero Evaluation Project!
The Denver Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DOTI) is currently conducting the Vision Zero and Bikeway Evaluation Study, an initiative aimed at enhancing safety and comfort for cyclists and all road users across Denver. The primary objective of this study is to gather both quantitative and qualitative data on our projects to evaluate the effectiveness of our Vision Zero and Bikeway projects.
We Need Your Help!
There are two primary ways that you can get involved and share your thoughts about how we can make our streets safer for everyone.
1. Online Survey (EN)(ES): This is a crucial tool in gauging your direct experience with our recent Vision Zero and Bikeway improvements. Through this survey, you can share your firsthand experiences, challenges, and recommendations. The survey is provided in both English and Spanish.
2. MPATH: Empathic Insights (link): Passively share your experiences by sharing your activity data! MPATH is an innovative application designed to collect stress data from cyclists throughout the city by analyzing activity data from wearable devices like Fitbit, Apple Watch, or Garmin. This data will then be used to pinpoint areas where cyclists feel uncomfortable, allowing DOTI to identify locations for street safety improvements. To contribute, participants simply need to opt-in on the website or the app and allow access to their activities through the duration of the study. MPATH will then collect anonymous, geospatial biometric data, converting it into stress scores.
